About the role We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering (Mandarin Speaker) to join our operations team in Demak, Central Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in optimising our manufacturing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring operational efficiency across our facilities. As an Industrial Engineer with Mandarin language capabilities, you will be instrumental in bridging communication between our Indonesian operations and our Chinese partners and stakeholders, whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our competitive advantage. Key responsibilities Analyse and optimise manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved productivity Design and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies Conduct time and motion studies to establish performance benchmarks and standard work procedures Develop and maintain production schedules, capacity plans, and resource allocation strategies Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics, providing regular analysis and reporting to management Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process enhancements and new manufacturing systems Collaborate with Chinese partners and international stakeholders, utilising fluent Mandarin communication to facilitate technical discussions and knowledge transfer Conduct feasibility studies for new equipment, technologies, and production methods
