Manufacturing Manager - Furniture Manufacturing

Client details: Furniture Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to achieve production targets, quality standards, efficiency, and workplace safety.

Lead manufacturing teams to foster a culture of safety, housekeeping programs, continuous improvement, and GMP implementation. Manage manufacturing budgets and investments to enhance production capacity, technology, and manufacturing systems. Analyse production metrics and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production requirements Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Liaise with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination across departments Conduct regular maintenance and equipment management to minimise downtime and maximise productivity Job Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the furniture or related manufacturing industry Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to manage manufacturing complexity Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management system
